This manual has been developed jointly by the International Cooperative for Environmental Leadership (ICEL) (formerly the International Cooperative for Ozone Layer Protection (ICOLP)) and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to aid the phaseout of ozone-depleting substances (ODSs) in metal cleaning applications. It will prove useful to manufacturers world-wide because the procedures used to clean metal parts apply to all manufacturers, regardless of location or size.
